Budapest Scientology Community Marks 10-Year Milestone

Around 500 members of Hungary’s Scientology community came together to commemorate the tenth anniversary of the Budapest Ideal Organization on Váci Road.

Opened in 2016, the six-storey religious centre has become an important meeting place for the Hungarian Scientology community. The anniversary brought together a religious service, musical performances, a photographic and video retrospective and plans for the next decade.

During the past decade, the Budapest church has also hosted community programmes ranging from drug prevention and human-rights education eu news brexit to humanitarian and interfaith initiatives. These activities are connected with social betterment programmes inspired by Scientology founder L. Ron Hubbard.
